จิตวิญญานที่สะท้อนถึงชีวิตของผู้คนผู้ที่ต้องทำงานอยู่บนถนนอันน่าหวั่นใจ ถูกสร้างภาพให้เห็นผ่านทิวทัศน์และสิ่งของรอบตัวพวกเขา คนขายพวงมาลัยเป็นหนึ่งในจิตวิญญานของกลุ่มคนที่ต้องแลกมาด้วยหยาดเหงื่อและความเสี่ยงบนการจราจรในกรุงเทพ เพื่อขายพวงมาลัยพวกเขาจึงใช้ช่วงเวลาไฟแดงกอบโกยและแสวงหาโอกาสขายพวงมาลัยให้หมดมือ นอกจากความพยายามแล้วยังคงต้องอาศัยโชคในการขายพวงมาลัยให้หมดมือด้วยเช่นกัน
การที่บางครั้งคุณโยนพวงมาลัยไม่เข้ากรวยอาจะไม่ได้เป็นเพราะคุณไม่พยายามแต่คุณอาจเพียงโชคไม่ดี ไม่ต่างจากคนขายพวงมาลัยที่อาศัยความพยายามและโชคในขายพวงมาลัยให้หมดมือในช่วงเวลาไฟแดง หากไม่สำ-เร็จในครั้งนี้ก็ทำได้เพียงรอคอยโอกาสไฟแดงอีกครั้ง...
This installation reflects the lives of those who risk their well-being to survive in Bangkok. Centered on a flower garland seller, it portrays the act of tossing garlands at cars during red lights as a fleeting game of chance where succ-ess depends not just on effort, but also on timing and luck.
The fact that you sometimes fail to toss a garland onto traffic cones might not be due to a lack of effort, but simply a stroke of ill luck. It is no different for the flower garland sellers who rely on both grit and fortune to empty their hands before the light turns green. If success doesn't come this time, all one can do is wait for the next red light to appear...
